Meet Negin Zarandi of LA Postal Center in San Fernando Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Negin Zarandi.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Negin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We started LA Postal Center in 2007. The main purpose of our business is to provide private mailbox rentals as well as complete packing and shipping services via major carriers such as USPS, FedEx and DHL. We are an approved USPS Postal Provider and in essence have formed a partnership with the Post Office to handle most postal related services from stamps to international shipping, typically without waiting in line.

Over the years, we have also added several other services to create “a one stop shop” experience for our customers.

Our growing list of repeat customers proves our customer satisfaction and they have gotten used to receiving a courteous, friendly and efficient service whenever they visit us.

Has it been a smooth road?
We have generally had a steady and solid growth in our business over the past 10 years. However, about 6 years ago we had to relocate the business. Our previous location (across the street) suffered smoke damage from a nearby fire and it forced us closed for 6 months. We had to build our new location from scratch and resume business after many months of closure – which was certainly challenging.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We at LA Postal Center pride ourselves in expertise of shipping/packing service. We also set a very high bar in customer service. Every customer is recognized and respected with a friendly smile. We never take them for granted.

We are also extremely detailed oriented and accurate that has helped us build trust with our customers. We offer house accounts to many of our clients where they just come in – drop what needs to be shipped (with instructions) and leave. They never have to bring a wallet or wait in line. We process their shipment and bill them once a month.

We even offer a curbside mail pickup service for those mailbox rental customers who may not be able to come in. All they have to do is to call us and we’ll bring in their mail to their cars outside. Can’t get more convenient than that!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
We like Sherman Oaks because it is very diverse and populated. It is located near 2 major freeways (101 & 405) which makes it convenient for many people.
