Meet Rose Garcia of Garcia Real Estate Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rose Garcia.

Rose, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I began my career in Los Angeles residential real estate in 1994, shortly after graduating high school, as an assistant for my highly successful and seasoned aunt who has been in the business for over 25 years. I then went into accounting with the Los Angeles Unified School District which lead me to a career in finance and lending with various banking entities. Helping clientele obtaining financing for home purchases and refinancing became my new career and passion.

In 2010, I joined Division One Real Estate Group, where I specialized in acquisitions for first time home buyers, investors in addition to facilitating standard sales and short sales of all residences including condominiums, income properties, and single-family homes. I branched out to start my own real estate group, Garcia Real Estate Group under Division One. Since then I have been featured in Newsweek, Buzzfeed, House Hunters, and Million Dollar Listings.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. The market crashed in 2008-2009 so our industry took a huge hit. I had to completely rebuild and refocus as did the entire industry. Since then, we have thrived and have been contributing to this flourishing market.

Garcia Real Estate Group – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I specialize in working with all facets of home buying and selling. From first time home buyers to seasoned investors. I take on all deals no matter how big or small. Our focus is the client and their needs. We can have a client looking to buy land for $10,000 or another looking to buy a luxury home for $10,000,000. All get treated with the same professionalism and attention.

I am most proud of starting my group on my own with my philosophy of what is most important in this business, the client. Most companies focus on everything else but the client. That is our #1 focus at Garcia Real Estate Group and that is what sets us apart from all others. Our clients are our priority!

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Every time I hand the keys to a first-time home buyer, that has to be my proudest moment. Yes, it happens a lot and often but the feeling of being so honored and proud to be a part of that life changing journey never changes.
