Meet Matty Spatola

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matty Spatola.

Matty Spatola is an LA-based producer and musician from Long Island, NY with a life-long dedication to music and years of experience in both live performance and studio work. In 2010 Matty moved to Hollywood, CA to pursue a career in music. He has since continued to hone his craft and solidify his reputation as an eclectic guitarist with unique showmanship and fearless musicality.

Matty’s signature sound has allowed him to play with a variety of artists, such as Kanye West, Jessie J, Ty Dolla $ign, Stormzy, Madison Beer, Future, The Weeknd, T.I., and Mýa on stages like Rock in Rio, Wireless Festival, SNL, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden and more. Matty also worked with Jason Derulo on the song “Savage Love” (RIAA Certified Platinum) and produced “Thug Love” and “Till The Wheels Fall Off” for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

Has it been a smooth road?
The biggest challenge has been to stay positive while focused on the goal. The motivation is always there but you have to be your own biggest supporter and believe in your dreams and yourself more than anyone else does.

What else should our readers know?
I’m always hungry for more knowledge and I never stop learning new things whether it’s on my instrument or in the studio.
