Meet Mario Vollera of South end in Venice beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mario Vollera.

Mario, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I love Venice beach and I love pizza and wine.

I got the opportunity to open a place and I did it, the community helped me so much.

I have been adopted, as Italian, from Venice beach and LA in general

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Hahaha.
Restaurant smooth road? Never, never…
Has been thought in the beginning but now we are a success and we are making sure we keep this way.

Please tell us about South end.
Pizza and wine, 12 perfect baked pies,
And more than 35 eclectic, organic, artisan, down to hearth wine by the glass from all over the world, and about 50-55 bottle of wine to choose from.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My mother preparing pasta home day Sunday morning after mass
