Today we’d like to introduce you to Marbella Campos.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Almost ten years ago, I suffered from depression and anxiety due to a lot of difficulties I went through in life. That’s what got me to where I am today.
Growing up, my parents always argued about my weight, and as a teenager, my dad would constantly say to me “No sirves para nada,” meaning I was good for nothing. Therefore, my self-esteem wasn’t the greatest. Somehow good people or “Angels” as I like to call them, were placed on my path that helped make me feel good. I started working at the age of 17, and within three months I was promoted to a Supervisor.
Ever since then I only had three jobs, all of the long term and I always managed others. I never actually thought of starting my own business since I always excelled at every company I worked for. I got married at the age of 25 and was cheated on within the first few months of getting married. I stayed in the relationship and got pregnant. I lost my baby at almost five months of pregnancy.
I was so broken and distraught after that, I gained a lot of weight because of all the emotional trauma. I ended up leaving my marriage after almost seven years. I then got pregnant again and ended up losing that baby at almost five months of pregnancy as well. I was so devasted, I fell into a deep depression. I cried every day and didn’t see the point to my life. I then sought out help.
I ended up going to someone who helped me work on my trauma. She helped me learn to love myself. I became a happy, vibrant being. That was almost ten years ago. After that, I wanted to help everyone become happy in life, and I soon realized that not everyone wanted to be helped. There were, however, a few people that reached out for my guidance. That’s when I realized there was a reason I went through so much pain in my life.
I started Heavenly Bella as a brand. I wanted to sell clothing with affirmations since affirmations helped me have a positive mindset. I soon realized that selling clothing wasn’t truly my passion. My true passion was helping others become happier in life, for them to adapt to a different way of thinking and become a better version of themselves. It makes me so happy to see a positive transformation in a person.
When they stop being victims and take charge of their own lives. Now I AM Heavenly Bella. I am the brand. I want to help transform as many lives as possible in my lifetime. I offer a 4-week transformation program called a “Heavenly You.” My intention with my program is to help others let go of anything that no longer serves them, loves their body, loves themselves and for them to figure out what they want for themselves moving forward. This is my passion!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth ride. I don’t have a product to promote. I am basically promoting myself, and sometimes that’s not easy. I started networking more, and that definitely helps. Plus, I have a great tribe made up of amazing empowering women that support me.
Please tell us about Heavenly Bella.
I am a Certified Life Coach that specializes in personal transformation. I am proud of the fact that I help others learn to love themselves by healing past traumas.
What sets me apart from others is that I have been doing self-development for almost ten years now, so I’ve pretty much dealt with all my own issues. I don’t just talk the talk, I walk the walk.
I’m happy with myself and my life so therefore I’m able to transmit that energy into the world and to my clients.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My dad used to always take us to theme parks during the summer, and I loved going to Disneyland. The reason I loved going to Disneyland was because of “It’s a small world” ride. I loved seeing all the different colors and the music. I loved all the different ethnicities. I truly believe we are all one.
