Hi Madison, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My best friend, Anna, and I started jo + leigh marketing a while after graduating college. We had always talked about building a business together, and some stars aligned in February of 2022 where we were able to make that dream a reality! Now, we have several part-time team members, schedules full of website re-designs and 1,000+ people following along our journey on tiktok and instagram! We are so proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, and know there’s more to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not a perfectly smooth road, no. We’ve had clients not take us seriously as young female entrepreneurs and have had the pressure kick in when we realize the whole business is resting just on our shoulders. We are extremely blessed to have some awesome clients, partners, and mentors that keep us grounded and going though!
