Today we’d like to introduce you to Madden Laing, Blake Zingale, Nick Schuman and Matt Sumen.
Madden, Blake, Nick, and Matt, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We are a rock and roll band from Hermosa Beach, California. Having met as acquaintances in high school, we found each other in similar musical interests afterlife took us in different individual directions for college. We first started jamming for fun, but then it turned into something special when the connection was free and easy. This was the stone template for the band to create the vibes we produce into the world. Having recorded a demo album, “Wouldn’t Hurt To Show” and playing a number of shows from Hollywood to local bars, our sound has cultivated into a raw and mature classic rock sound while throwing in a twist of contemporary music. This summer we will be releasing several new singles, and the first of those to hit the streets is “Rock the Sound”. Onward, we look forward to enjoying the musical ride and creating tunes for people to get together and to release their inner sixties while thriving in the time we call now. You can never learn or experience enough, especially in the world of music.
Has it been a smooth road?
No road is smooth when you play rock and roll.
What else should we know?
We are keen on writing our own material. We have strong influences from older music while producing a very original sound. As a band we don’t necessarily like following trends, instead we stay true to writing honest tunes that our personal lives radiate. You can clearly hear this in our singles we will be releasing.

From the beach to the streets we love the melting pot that makes up the City of Angels.
