Meet Luis Gonzalez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Luis Gonzalez.

Luis, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Temecula life was created with the vision to encourage people to come out and experience everything the Temecula Valley has to offer. located between Los Angeles and San Diego, Temecula is the perfect southern California getaway.

Luis Gonzalez, owner, and photographer of Temecula life moved to Temecula in 2014 after marrying the love of his life, samara Gonzalez. Luis started riding his bicycle around wine country and had never been to a winery before moving to Temecula. It was here he fell in love with the beauty of the rolling vineyards, the wineries – each with their own history and personality, and the peaceful atmosphere. inspired by these surroundings, Luis discovered a passion within himself for capturing the lifestyle through photography and sharing these amazing experiences with others. Through Instagram, he developed a love and connection to both the vines and his followers.

Luis has now partnered with a tech-team to create a new wine country app just launched about 30 days ago which has been very successful and has huge potential for the future.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The biggest obstacle has always been my schedule and time.

People are always amazed and find it hard to believe that I have a full-time job aside from Temecula Life

I’m a street striper operator for a city in San Diego and commute out of Temecula Monday – Thursday.

On my social media, it looks like I’m wining and dining every single day but in reality, I do most of my photography on my Fridays off and half-day Saturdays and Sundays.

I also serve on the tech team at Rancho Community Church on Sundays from 9:30-2:00 pm

So the struggle is always time!

The goal is to be able to work Temeculalife full time and spend every single day in Temecula.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
My business is marketing, photography/videography.

I work with wineries, breweries and restaurant provide businesses with photos and videos for their marketing. It’s also a partnership where businesses get featured on IG @temeculalife for greater exposure on monthly feature packages.

I’m known for my photography of wine, air-balloons, food, and event videos.

I’m really proud of my photography featured on magazines like the visit California Official Visitors Guide and others. I was also really grateful to be nominated for the Xenia Social Media Award competing again social media giants in the valley like Peltzerwinery, Akash Winery, Wilson Creek Winery and more.

I believe what sets me apart is my following on Instagram and my perseverance in creating this brand and style of photography.

What were you like growing up?
I had an amazing child good growing up in San Diego spending most of my time in the ocean (imperial beach) either surfing or skating.

I’m the youngest of three and was my parent’s favorite 😉.

I have always been super passionate about everything I got into. All in or nothing.

Before moving to Temecula I had never been to a winery in my life or have any special training in photography.

I started Temeculalife IG with my iPhone 5, then got into GoPro.

Once it became a business I moved on to professional equipment and spend most of the money on camera equipment.
