Meet Lora Levison

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lora Levison.

If Joan Rivers, Bette Midler, Lucille Ball and Cher had a redheaded broadway baby, it would be her.

Lora earned her bachelor of arts in music from Rollins College, with a focus in vocal performance and is able to find the voice within any community. With a bright, gregarious personality that is larger than life, Lora’s natural habitat is in front of a full audience or the camera and preferably with a microphone.

All the way from Orlando, Lora is a millennial renaissance woman working day by day as an entertainer in creative marketing. Her background ranges from singing in rock bands, television hosting and red carpet events, runway and print modeling, featured personality work, community management to high profile client services.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
From a young age, I knew it was imperative to have a strong sense of self-love and worth while having thick (healthy) skin to protect my spirit from the abundance of rejection that comes with the nature of the entertainment industry.

There are days I feel like the world spins twice as fast, on a validation high from traveling across the country to strut down a runway, hosting in head-to-toe glitz and glam covering a high profile red carpet event or filming in a major production with A-list actors that were household names growing up.

Then, there are days I feel like I’m in a standstill, drained from attending endless castings all over Los Angeles with no outcome, having little to no work boundaries as everyday has hustle potential or being extremely health conscious to the point where it takes precedence over any social events.

Overall, there is an art to feeling wholeness as model, host, singer, actor and human being. I find that through hot yoga, woke friendships and unplugging first thing in the morning for affirmations.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
As an Entertainer in Creative Marketing, I am an entrepreneurial renaissance woman and represent myself in all capacities, for now that is. I am known as the redhead with major personality, vibrant energy and authenticity.

As an all-encompassing entertainer, I model, host, act, sing, dance and just be myself. From working with big brands on the beach to a cold warehouse of a major motion picture studio lot, I’m used to it all.

In creative marketing, I check many boxes with experience in social media strategy, content creation, brand and partnerships, business and product development, press relations and community management. I’m every startup’s dream team member, usually traveling all over for my clients or workingremotely.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My education, passion and most profound talent is singing. The performing arts is where I shine my brightest light, from the inside out. (I skipped prom in high school to go see a Broadway show in NYC after all.) My personal sound is a mix between Broadway and Rock n Roll served on a platinum platter, I’m a powerhouse. Having gone through so much in life, writing music heals my heart while sharing my story with others, assuring me that I’m less alone in this world.

Currently, I’m working on a musical feature about my life. I’ve been writing music to heal for years, not knowing exactly how I would present my cathartic release to the world until it dawned on me… “Lora, you are going to tell your story through a musical.” I’m developing the script with talented screenwriter, Daniel Sheiman, writer of “A Civilized Life.” (streaming on Amazon Prime)

Articulating the darkest moments from my life with a fellow creative, and not my therapist is another level of vulnerability I’m taking session by session. Once polished to authentic perfection, I plan to share my story with the world.
