Meet Lloyd Galbraith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lloyd Galbraith.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Lloyd. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I moved to LA in 2014 from Salt Lake City after I landed an internship at fashion and art magazine based in LA. I learned pretty quickly how magazines and fashion brands were managed, marketed and maintained. Since then I’ve worked for a couple different Los Angeles based magazines as well as with fashion designers one on one.

Has it been a smooth road?
Its definitely been a challenge. A lot of the places I’ve worked for have been established for years. Learning how to develop an already defined brand while working with ten other big personalities in an intense environment really made me develop a thick skin.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
My business is all tied back to photography. I mostly work with magazines and designers to help art direct and develop branded content. As well as, freelance journalism and writing here and there for magazines.

I’m most proud of all the queer artists I’ve been able to work with and highlight publications over the years. Its been really cool to see models and designers I’ve worked with since I first moved here 2014 finally getting the recognition they deserve.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and the least?
I love the passion that people have for their art here.

I can’t stand all the Beverly Hills republicans who underpay their employees,
