Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Goshon.

Hi Lisa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
When I turned 50, like most women, I paid special attention to my beauty regimen and the type of products I was using. Of course, looking good was also a priority. The one accessory in beauty that gives ALL women that added boost is false eyelashes. However, being a woman of a particular age, I didn’t have much experience putting on false eyelashes. When I did try to wear them, my eyes would be irritated and half the eyelash glue would end up all over the false eyelash and in the rest in my eye.

As I searched for an alternative to eyelash glue, and something that was going to be “safe” and non-toxic, I couldn’t find anything. It was at that point I decided I had to develop a product. I wanted to create something that was safe, easy to apply and made in America.

Last January, after much research and development work, “Goodbye Glue” strips for false eyelashes was created! Goodbye Glue strips are the first “medical-grade” eyelash strips designed to attach false eyelashes. Made with 3M hypoallergenic adhesive, Goodbye Glue strips don’t contain toxic ingredients like “cyanoacrylate” and “formaldehyde” which are the leading chemicals found in eyelash glue. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Anything worth having is hard work and Goodbye Glue strips is no exception. However, because Goodbye Glue strips are actually addressing a “real” health problem as it relates to eye health, it’s been well-received

As you know, we’re big fans of LGI Branding LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
LGI Branding LLC is a woman-minority owned company operating since 2013, specializing in the import and export of consumer product goods for safety and new product development for beauty accessories. Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
