Meet Lindsay Morgan Snyder

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Morgan Snyder.

Lindsay Morgan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I used to hate myself! And the pain of that led me on a deep journey to discover what love really was. I was “that girl” looking for love in ALL the wrong places— much like the song goes.

But then I ran smack dab into Love Himself and I was stunned to realize He was more real than anything I had ever known. I began to explore how the Bible said that God IS love! It didn’t say God created love or that God was the best at love. It said “God IS love” and that was interesting to me. I didn’t stop there— I went on the hunt for other info on the subject of love and what it really was! Truth be told I couldn’t find anything more compelling then this person makes Love! I was 33 years old at the time and had lived a lot of “life” already, yet I had never seen anything like this love before.

I found this love to be something I wished everyone understood. Love was so kind! So caring. Why didn’t the world know this about God?!

I wasn’t sure so I left everything I had and started to follow Jesus as He is the door to Love! Jesus is the nicest “person” I had ever known!

I didn’t quite understand everything that’s for sure but He took me by the hand and led me to some major healing I needed in my heart and mind and then He began to use that healing to help others.

The journey wasn’t all rainbows and puppy dogs. But He couldn’t help but bless me in the middle of my mess.

I suddenly realized not everyone saw Jesus this way and I thought “what a bummer. He loves them so much” and I wanted to help people understand that He was WAY more fun and kind and loving and smart than the world tends to think.

So there I began to turn my own voyage into a business teaching others how to find the circumference of Love!

What does that mean? I am glad you asked. It means this process of learning to receive God’s love through our sweet Jesus and then learning to love Him back and then learning to love ourselves so that we can also love each other

It’s like learning about love from Love Himself. Who better to teach us the way?!

He is super super fun and freeing! My heart is for the entertainment and media community. I believe if we are going to spread love we must take our cues from the One who has the name Love!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Easy? Smooth road?! Is that a thing?! Not really for me. Lol. But it has been a grand adventure with a lot of “unknowns”, and some “I wonder when’s, also “are we done yets” and then some “you have got to be kidding me’s!” But in the end we have had a lot of fun as well. Oh and when I say “we” I am talking about God I have found He is the best business partner out there

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am an author and speaker. My first book is called “Letting Love In, How God renews relationships by crushing your inner critic” I talk about the ten lies that keep us from love. Love of ourselves, love of God and love of others.

The lies that usually hold us back from love are things like unworthiness, rejection, abandonment, pain and unforgiveness among a few others

I also create courses to help people find freedom and learn to be loved. It’s so fun. My newest course coming out is called “The Realignment Assignment, a course for the recovering codependent”

Other courses and online workshops on the docket are:
The Finding Freedom can be Fun Workshop
Movie scripting your anxious thoughts Workshop
Finding true love in the father heart of God workshop.

I also love giving content away for free. So I have a podcast, blog and other fun resources for whomever may want to explore.

I want to see media and entertainment find true love and freedom. I want to see people recover from the things that hold them back.

For more info people can contact me through Instagram or sign up on my website.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was a bit of a wild card. I was super creative and didn’t give a flip about math or science! I sucked at singing and somehow skipped out on art class. But I joined the band because I wanted to twirl. My aunt was a baton teacher so I grew up doing that which included dance, a bit of ballet, tap and gymnastics. It was fun. I was also a cheerleader but wasn’t that great. I was bored so I tried a bit of everything from the school yearbook (which if I am honest was more about hanging with my friends and making sure cute pictures of us got in the book) to student counsel. I also have a vague memory of leading some kind of revolt but I think it was for a good cause. My grandfather was the mayor of our city and my family consisted of creatives, hard workers and entrepreneurs. Seems like I may have picked some of that up! When I left my 6 figure job 5 years ago to explore what was next I think my family wasn’t sure if I had lost my mind. But as always they stood behind me waiting to see how the adventures would turn out. Life without risk is boring for this girl. It must be the thrill of adventure that I love so much. And in this adventure I found Love! Love that never fails. Love from Love Himself and that changed everything.
