Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Castro.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am an entrepreneur & mom! I began my interest in photography & film in high school. Where I got my hands on my first video camera. I had so much fun creating vibrant music videos with classmates. Eventually, I was given the opportunity to film my high school’s dance recitals & musicals. I attended college & absorbed all the information available to me in regard to beginning a business. While also learning & upgrading my skills as a photographer & videographer. Working alongside Marcinema Weddings & Utmost Films for a few years I got my feet wet into the wedding side of photography & film before venturing into my own business. I soon fell in love with documenting couples’ beautiful love stories. Which has now led me into making beautiful friendships & meeting some amazing people & couples along the way.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Becoming a photographer & filmmaker has been a great learning experience. One never stops learning! I have become amazing at my craft. However, there is always room for improvement! I challenge myself to always try being more creative each year. Which challenges me to learn new methods to deliver beautiful romantic love stories brought to life. Being a mother to my daughter & being an entrepreneur is definitely a constant battle. Making time for family & owning a business is hard with a small child. Time management has definitely been a lifesaver for me!

I am a photographer & videographer. I specialize in weddings & lifestyle photography & film. I am mostly proud of my efforts in making my clients happy! My team & I take pride in our work. We make sure you are feeling your most comfortable & relaxed on your wedding day. In addition, to a stress-free wedding day we take pride in our work & make sure you are satisfied. I pride myself in giving my couples the easiest & smoothest wedding day as possible. I accommodate to all needs, requests & am flexible & at an affordable price.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
To anyone begging their journey. I would recommend having a good support system! Keeping your head up when things don’t go your way. There will be a lot of struggle. However, nothing good comes without some struggle. In addition, always continue to learn & grow. Networking will help you also!
