Meet Korin Peltier of Events by Korin in Santa Clarita

Today we’d like to introduce you to Korin Peltier.

Korin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
It all started about two years ago when I was watching Bride Wars hahah. I realized at that moment that I’m really good at organization and scheduling and I love to plan things. I love to plan things 24 hours in advance, days in advance, weeks in advance, I just like to plan things in general. I like schedules and I’m a very on time person. I researched some online event planning programs and I chose QC Event School. I loved the program and I learned so much! I’ve done birthday parties, weddings, you name it.

Parties are about celebrating, not about stressing. Everyone deserves to have their ideal “pin-board” vision become a reality. I am currently working on four weddings and I’m so excited to help my amazing clients create their dream weddings!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
So far so good! The road has been smooth! My family and amazing boyfriend are so supportive. They are the ones that keep me growing and striving for more. I’m so thankful for my friends who have referred me to their friends. I know it won’t always be easy because my clients’ events are on my shoulders, but seeing the satisfied smiles on their faces make everything worth it.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Events by Korin – what should we know?
From first birthday parties to fiftieth birthday parties, bridal showers to baby showers, corporate parties to weddings, I am honored to help anyone plan the perfect bash.

To create the perfect extravaganza, I immerse myself in my clients’ ideas and bring them life. My goal is to create an experience that allows my clients to form the fondest of memories that will last a lifetime. No task is too small! I offer everything from day-of coordination to helping you find the perfect venue, vendors, and cake. You can’t have a party without cake!

I choose to not have any packages due to the fact that I believe every client is different. I know that every client is going to want to use my services differently. Some want me with them every single step of the way, others want me to be just there on the big day, and some clients want some sort of in between. Instead of designating a “package” to each client, I have decided that all my clients get their very own customized package, I like to call it my “Non-Package Package.” I will sit with my client and find out exactly what they are requesting of me and from there we will work out an agreed upon price.

My Non-Package Package is what I believe sets me apart from others. My goal is to help my clients! That’s the number one!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I think what is most important to my success is being genuine and honest. I’m not trying to take your money. I love love and I love hearing other people’s’ love stories. Being able to be a part of that process is so special to me.

And of course, organization is a very important characteristic for an event planner.
