Meet Kiana Collins

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiana Collins.

Kiana, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
First I would like to thank you for the opportunity to share my story. I started my interest in Real Estate when I worked for the #1 property management company at the time which was Riverstone Residential. After being laid off because the building was sold a co-worker and I decided to start taking a real estate course because the class started the following Monday.

Little did I know that paying $499 for a course and two weeks of study would have me licensed and ready to sell million dollar homes. This was not planned or thought-out, it was God’s timing because I would have never left without being laid off. After completing the course I realize my first real estate transaction had paid me four times the money I paid to get started. It was at this point I realize Real estate was my way to generational wealth.

Sounds like you were able to achieve success right out the gate.  That’s awesome – would you say it has it been a relatively smooth road for you so far? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I must say it hasn’t been a smooth road. Real estate has an 87% failure rate within the first five years. However, once I found my niche and continue to focus on what I was good at my business started to take off. I don’t worry about my weaknesses because I hired other people to help me in those areas.

Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about your work?
I’m a Real Estate Consultant! I help people buy, sell and invest in real estate throughout Atlanta, Georgia. I specialize in House Tours. I take pride in giving buyers the finest tour of homes during their search and providing sellers with a mega marketing experience when listing their house for sale.

I’m known for “Open House Sunday’s”. Open House Sundays are usually 2-4 pm where I feature one of our new homes to just hit the market. This event is free, fun and open to the public. My open house events are not your typical open house. I actually call them “Viewing Parties” because it’s a celebration every time I enter a neighborhood. My viewing parties are one of the things that set me apart from others. I love hosting open houses every weekend featuring different neighborhoods.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is doing what you love. As long as you’re doing what you love you’ll never work a day in your life.
