Meet Journey Christine and Celina Scott

Today we’d like to introduce you to Journey Christine and Celina Scott.

When Journey was first born, the nurses were grabbing their friends from different wards of the hospital to have a look at her. The nurses gushed over Journey and assured me of how beautiful she was. It happened everywhere we went. People would stare and comment on Journey’s beauty. After much encouragement, I finally decided to submit Journey’s images to different modeling agencies. Shortly after, Journey got agency representation and things took off from there.

At 12 months old, Journey booked her first print job for Vans shoes. One month later, Journey booked her first national commercial for Kohl’s department stores. Journey continued to wow casting directors and booked commercials for several other top companies, including Honda, Walmart, and Home Depot. Journey has since worked with various top brands, from Disney to Tom Ford. In 2019, Journey has walked in multiple fashion shows, including Los Angeles Spring Summer Fashion Week. Journey’s first feature film, “Let It Snow”, was filmed in January and will be released on Netflix this winter. Journey has also been featured in 2 short films: “Moon” and “E.R Compliance” as well as a recurring role in the Amazon Prime series: “Hidden Springs”. All of them are set to premiere in 2019.

In addition to modeling and acting, Journey is passionate about music and dancing. Having made many friends in the music and entertainment industry and coming from a musical family, Journey was soon inspired to perform her own music. In August 2019, Journey released her first single “Work” and has performed the song at multiple events in Los Angeles. “Work” is available on all digital platforms.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Journey has been very blessed and loves working. Because of her personality and maturity, she often books jobs that were intended for older kids. This makes memorizing lines a little harder because she is at the age where she is just beginning to read. The same applies when recording songs. Another challenge is the time commitment. Journey was home-schooled her first year of school, in order to meet the demands of the industry. When she returned to public school, it was harder to adapt to the structure and make new friends. I think the biggest industry challenge, is when the competition looks just like you. You really have to find your voice and what makes you unique, because looks alone, will only get you so far.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
Journey is an entertainer and influencer. Journey is a model, actress, and rap artist. Journey is known for her joyful and fun-loving spirit. Journey lets you into her “Journey” through life and the entertainment industry by sharing stories on her Instagram page: @JourneyChristine. I am most proud of her courage to try new things and never quit on herself. I think what sets her apart is the fact that she is bold and soft at the same time. She is determined to work hard for what she wants. And she wants to bring everyone with her. She has the most tender and loving heart.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, umm. I’m only 6 I’m still growing. – Journey Christine

Journey has always been very excited about life. She’s confident in everything she does. She loves exploring new things. She’s always been in interested in music, entertaining, and fashion. – Celina Scott (mom)
