I’m the face and heart behind Cherish Impression. My passion for design started a long time ago back in college. I grow up in Brazil thinking that I want to be an artist and perform at grand theaters around the world. However, after one year and a half attending Fine Arts school, I realized my real love was for graphic design. With my family and now my husband’s support, I changed my path and got my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design in 2014. Even though I was born in California, I spent most of my life in Brazil; therefore, like many people around the world, I also had the American dream. I wanted to learn English and give myself a chance to live where I was originally from. At this time, still in 2014, I made one of the biggest and hardest decisions of my life. I left my family and my high school sweetheart behind and moved to the USA.
At the beginning of this new chapter was really painful since I was living far from who I love and in a culture that was new for me. However, after seven long months, John, my boyfriend, and now husband joined me in this big adventure. I worked in sales in many different places until I was finally able to get a job in the marketing department at one of the biggest window treatment companies in the United States. It took me almost four years to get my desired Graphic Designer position in a firm, but I never gave up. I kept studying different things and working really hard to get where I wanted to be. And you know what? It worked! Now, after almost three years working as a Graphic Designer, I’m investing in another big dream. I’m opening and running my own creative studio. It hasn’t been easy, especially in such uncertain days like we are leaving, but I have no intention of giving up. I believe that if you work hard and stay positive, you will triumph in life.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Cherish Impression is not even one year old, but I can for sure say that it hasn’t been easy. Everything is new for me when it comes to opening a new business. If before I was working as a Graphic Designer, I’m now also doing financing, sales, marketing, customer service, and many other things. Every day I learn something new and move one step forward. It is a lot of big decisions to make by myself, and this can be scary. I will not deny that I also get discouraged sometimes, but I’m trying to be patient and give myself time. Success doesn’t come overnight, right?
Another struggle for me is finding time to do everything that I want or need to. Unfortunately, I can not afford to quit my full-time job and dedicate 100% of my time to Cherish Impression. Therefore, I’m trying to find a balance in life between my family, work, and my new company.

Cherish Impression is a creative studio committed to creating a memorable and valuable piece of design that reveals the beauty of uniqueness. Here every project is unique and deserves special attention. Our goal is to always exceed expectations and to translate my client’s dreams into a beautiful visual composition that he or she will cherish forever.
We offer custom graphic design, branding, and fine art wedding stationery, assisting each and every client all over the world with an easy and stress-free process. Our work also involves a lot of handmade elements like wax seals, envelope liners, digital watercolor painting, etc. We pride ourselves on taking care of every detail of a project from start to finish. For example, our custom wedding invitation process takes care of designing, printing, assembling, addressing, and even mailing all invitations to every guest. All the client has to do is relax and wait for those beautiful RSVP cards to arrive.
What sets us apart from others is that we truly care about the client. Our secret formula involves:
– Unlimited rounds of revisions to make sure our clients are 100% happy with the final result;
– We put love and devotion into every project because we want our clients to cherish with us;
– We only use high-quality materials and inspect each detail of a project very carefully,
– For us, there is no right or wrong. We are here to make our client’s dreams come true.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Honestly, I think we should be proud of every good thing that we do in our lives. It doesn’t matter if it is a small or big accomplishment, but we should celebrate and be proud of every good moment. Some of my proudest moments were when I was at school learning graphic design, and I won the best book project of the class with my Kiss book; another one was when I created the 40th-anniversary logo for 3 Day Blinds; or recently when I finished my digital marketing classes at UCI and got my certification, and I was even proud when I finished designing Cherish Impression’s website. All these are great memories that I’m proud of.
