Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenny Diem.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Jenny. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always had a passion for traveling, photography, and fashion. I started off as a photographer and videographer documenting my travels. And somewhere along the way, I fell into modeling. Now I create content for fashion and travel companies to use on their social media platforms as well as promoting them on my platforms.
Has it been a smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been smooth the entire way. A lot of highs and lows to say the least. I have had moments of self-doubt, insecurity, and depression but I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the lows. I am incredibly thankful for all the opportunities I have had traveling and working with so many amazing companies. I am especially thankful for the people closest to me because I wouldn’t be where I am without their love and encouragement.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a photographer, videographer, model, and content creator. I have traveled to all 50 states, 8 Canadian provinces, Vietnam, Iceland, France, Peru, and the Caribbean taking photos and videos to document my adventures. My longest hike is twenty miles in and out of Havasu Canyon and my highest summit is Mount Baldy. I have worked with numerous fashion and travel companies, such as Reebok, Polaroid, Toms, and HotelTonight creating content to promote their brand and image. My proudest work is my travel content and landscape photography. In particular, a photo I captured of the aurora borealis at Kirkjufell Mountain in Iceland at 3 a.m. on a very cold August morning. It is one of my favorite travel stories and photos I have ever taken. I love discovering and exploring new places, capturing Earth’s beauty and learning about different cultures along the way.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
LA is such a great hub for so many amazing creatives to come together and learn from one another. I am so grateful for all the opportunities I have had and all the inspiring people I have met since I first moved here back in 2012.
