Meet Jeffrey Jumaily

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Jumaily.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We are a boutique plastic surgery practice in Beverly Hills, CA. Our practice started in May 2017. I had lived in Boston, MA prior to moving to California. In Boston, I received my medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Then I completed five years of surgical training in head and neck surgery at Boston University Medical Center (BUMC). At BUMC, I was fortunate to train with some of the best surgeons in the country and the world. We worked on state of the art surgery such as facial feminization surgery, lip lift, and rhinoplasty with mentors such as Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel. I completed further training in facial plastic surgery at the University of Toronto with one of the top surgeons in Canada, Dr. Jamil Asaria.

After working at FACE cosmetic surgery in Toronto, I founded a boutique practice in Beverly Hills to perform state of the art surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures of the face and hair. We brought to the LA area the most advanced surgical techniques and skills in the facial plastic surgery space. Since we are a boutique practice, we are able to deliver excellent results with the utmost care and individual attention.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Beverly Hills is the capital of cosmetic surgery. There are hundreds of surgeons who practice in all areas of the plastic surgery field, it is one of the most competitive places to start a cosmetic surgery practice. We started a practice from scratch without any prior referral sources or reputation. However, we believed that there is always room for the best care and the best results. I have niche areas of expertise such as facial feminization surgery, forehead reduction and hairline lowering, lip lift, V line jaw surgery among others. Over time, our patients and their results became our best advertisement.

Jeffrey Jumaily Facial Plastic Surgery – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Our practice a boutique plastic surgery clinic specializing in advanced cosmetic surgery of the face. We specialize in all surgical and some nonsurgical aspects of facial plastic surgery. We are known for the typical facial procedures such as minimally invasive facelift, rhinoplasty (nose surgery), eyelid surgery, However, I practice some of the most advanced facial surgical techniques and that sets us apart from clinics that focus on the classical procedures. We are one of the best clinics for facial feminization surgery (making a face appear more feminine), jaw contouring surgery, lip lift, and forehead reduction/hairline lowering. Those procedures are performed by few surgeons and mastered by even fewer. Facial feminization surgery (FFS) is especially rewarding because it allows us to help our transgender community feel more like themselves and face the world with confidence.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I feel that success is in the eye of the beholder. I don’t like to think of it as a number or parameter; it’s not how many surgeries you perform per year or total revenue or number of media appearances. We have a mission statement which is to take care of any patient who comes in and asks us to help them achieve their aesthetic goals. So in regards to my practice, I measure success by patient satisfaction and stories of how we helped people feel more confident and feel better about themselves. I look for success in every procedure and every advice I give. These little successes are like building blocks to a bigger successful company or practice.
