Meet Jayvon (Ambjaay) May

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jayvon (Ambjaay) May.

Jayvon (Ambjaay), please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My brother and sister inspired me to pursue music. My family gave me money for studio time. After high school, I promised myself I would take music seriously. Going to the studio made me perfect my craft. So I was home one day on mom’s couch scrolling on Instagram, I seen a beat Almighty Quise had posted on his page that gave me a vibe. After recording “it cost to like this” Ep “UNO” develop a fan a base which started my career. Which lead me to where I’m at today.

Most importantly, thank God and the supporters.

Has it been a smooth road?
In life, there’s bumps in the road but you have to keep going and not give up on your goals. My slogan “it cost to live like this” is a meaning within its self you have to work hard nothing in life is free.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
My most proud moments is working with my family and receiving my first platinum plaque.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The best thing I like about my city is it gives me the motivation to keep working hard. The least thing I like about my city is the gang violence.
