Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaden Powell.
Jaden, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Video is so much more than a piece of content that is quickly consumed and easily forgotten. It is something that has an everlasting impact. I would say I’ve been a creative person my entire life. From way back, when I was a kid writing my own music to filming my family functions, I was always trying to tell some kind of story.
When I started my company; Creative Kultur, I spent hours and months perfecting my crafts and learning as much as I could about video production and the industry so that I could be best equipped to create a great story. The more time I put into learning and practicing my craft, the more I realized I was unfulfilled. I wasn’t really happy doing what I was doing. Even though it was I thought I wanted, creating aimless content wasn’t what I wanted to do. Then one day, I shot a wedding and realized something I had known my entire life; that I was meant to tell stories, not only for myself but for other people and businesses. I realized I needed to help people like myself who needed to tell their story. So, when I shot the wedding I asked the couple if I could have full creative direction on the video, they agreed; and from I saw the look on their faces after I delivered the final video to them. I knew this was something that I needed to do. They were aesthetic and it brought so much joy to their life seeing how they could finally tell their love story properly.
From that moment, this was something I knew I was going to do for the rest of my life. My eyes were finally open & now all I saw were stories that were miss told and misunderstood.
So that is why I started my company. At Creative Kultur, we are a collection of Creatives who tell stories for people, brands and businesses who want to impact the world.
Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve definitely had my fair share of ups and downs, but I take everything as a lesson and grow from that.

Established in 2018 by Jaden Powell; Creative Kultur is a media production company that specializes in digital development of brands, public figures, and everyone looking to capture their cinematic moments in life. We specialize in video production ( Budgets large and small), photography, graphic and web design. We are most known for our notable productions for the TEDx organization and it’s an honor to be apart of the TEDx family and help the speakers share their story with the world. Creative Kultur is very passionate about what we do. We are creatives who are always challenging ourselves creatively to step outside of the norms of traditional filmmaking.
