Meet Gus Castellanos of GoodVibes Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gus Castellanos.

Gus, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Growing up, I was always fascinated by music. It wasn’t until I went high school where I began to experiment with the process of mashing up two songs. In early 2008, I decided to buy my first DJ mixer and that marked a new and exciting era in my life. I started to DJ school events and private parties at age 16. I instantly fell in love with entertaining people with music and light shows. As years went on I gained experience by continuously playing at private venues, clubs, and bars such as Tiffany’s on Vine, Club SS, Ebano’s, and 103 Lounge to name a few. It wasn’t until I went to college that I realized this fun hobby could be a business. At that moment GoodVibes Entertainment was born.

Has it been a smooth road?
Just like any business there are always lessons to be learned. Early in my career I had the tendency to play the music that I liked. I soon learned that having an extensive diverse music library is key to a successful event. To this day I continue to collect different genres of music from different parts of the world. Our goal at GoodVibes Entertainment is to tailor to your event needs and we do so by playing the music our clients desire.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the GoodVibes Entertainment story. Tell us more about the business.
We at GoodVibes Entertainment are a professional DJ company that are dedicated to providing the best DJ services. We specialize in weddings, Quinceañeras, corporate functions, plus much more.

We are known for not just playing music at a party but by providing a show that makes everyone get up and dance the night away.

I am proud to be able to spread good vibes to good people through good music. This world can be very cruel so our goal at every event is to distract people from the realities of life and just enjoy the moment.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In the upcoming years, I see the industry continue to grow. More and more young people have taken interest in the art of DJing which is exciting for the music industry.
