Today we’d like to introduce you to Lavish LB.
Lavish LB, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was always interested in music since I was young and knew that once I had the opportunity to create good music, I would pursue it. I grew up in the city of Montebello and began to work on music in high school. I worked for years with my closest friend and artist Abraxaz in the same city. After years of learning the craft and preparing our work, we created and became co-founders of Foxglove Records, which is essentially a team and management group. Alongside with artist 2020vzn, team originated in the city of Montebello. We wanted to create a new sound for our city and be able to be versatile with the vibes we create.
At the moment, Foxglove Records is currently working on four major projects.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
A lot of the preparation it took in order to launch what we have created has led to a much easier process in building this team. The information and assistance that a number of minor and major artists have provided play a part in the structure of the group. Cultivating a sound for our craft took a long time to achieve and is still in the process of doing so.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Foxglove Records – what should we know?
Foxglove Records is essentially what we create. The music, the content, the information it all plays a part into the art we are trying to portray and showcase. As a team, we will continue to create projects that our audience enjoys. As for the creation of clothing, the branding of Divine is essentially another way for me to allow my creations and art to be showcased through fabric and clothing. Divine is essentially a clothing and fabric branch of Foxglove Records. After launching this in Northern California, I realized that the design and fabric choices have led to high customer satisfaction and the support is high as well. I know that the projects I create and put my time into will ultimately showcase my art and craft. I gain joy from doing these types of things and it’s cool to showcase it.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always into creating and building things for myself. I had a lot of joy in listening to music. Growing up in a football household, I began to achieve goals in my athletics. I was always focused and interested.
