TLT Food is a Fast Casual restaurant that was born from The Lime Truck. The Lime Truck started in 2010 and won multiple accolades including; Top 10 trucks in America – Yahoo, Best Food trucks in LA – Thrillist, and The Great Food Truck Race- Food Network. The brick and mortar version of the truck was a chance to really expand on what made us stand out as a food truck. Bringing new interesting flavors that harmoniously work together, making all the food from scratch, and a focus on great service. TLT is an embodiment of all of roots, with an addition of an expanded menu of all the favorites from the Lime Truck.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are no such things as smooth roads for a food truck… pun intended.
There are always challenges with a new business, especially one in food and beverage. We have a great team that likes to tackle issues on head first and moves quickly. It’s what we pride ourselves on most. Our menu has changed about 50% since we’ve open and we have expanded to 4 location in the past 4 years. You learn a lot of what to do, and what not to do. Ultimately as long as you are moving forward and focusing on your product and service you will continue to achieve new strengths.

Our business specializes in scratch-made food in a fast casual manner. No other fast casual restaurants have as vast or creative of a menu. You can purchase the same meat, prepared the same way in a TLT as you can from a fine dining restaurant. That is a very special concept, and when people realize it they get hooked.
I’m most proud of our teams and fans. We have had so many reviews and with an average of 4.5 stars between the 4 stars it really makes you think that you are on to something.
