BurrLin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Music is apart of my blood. My father was a respected reggae artist and I started recording music during my teenage years. This past June I released my first ep “Growth Zone”, a freshman ep that pushed me out of my comfort zone into my “Growth Zone” with the range of songs created and recorded.
From trap cuts like “We All In! Gang” and “BurrBank” to more melodic and introspective bars on “Getting Low”, “Faded Too Long”, and “Meant to Be” to even afrobeat inspired tracks like “Chale!” Growth Zone has been well received with thousands of global streams on the various platforms.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The biggest obstacle was simply getting out of my own way. I think that is something most people struggle with in life, holding themselves back from there desired greatness. This is why I created my project Growth Zone. To inspire, to motivate, and to educate.

I am the artist. I write, executive produce, record, perform and distribute my music. In addition to that, I also produce the merch on my site – BurrLinMusic.com

I’ve been blessed to have a supportive tribe of friends to help propel this forward. In addition, my engineer/mixer is a well-respected figure in the music industry for the genre and an advocate in my corner.
