Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Maradiaga.
Angela, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
After having my heart broken, I went through a long period of not dating anyone. Once my friends forced me back out in the dating scene, I ended up meeting an actor/model at a premiere party. I was new to the Los Angeles area, so I wasn’t used to dating anyone in the entertainment field and became very intimidated. He was about that gym life, and I was more about that taco life. I hated working out but knew I needed to get more in shape if I wanted to keep his interest.
So I started hitting the gym, and one day as I was working out, I started thinking about how our first time would be, which made me even more intimidated. It had been a while so I felt a little rusty, especially compared to him, who had probably been with a lot of beautiful women. Then I started wondering if there was a class kind of like pole aerobics except instead of teaching me how to swing around the pole, it taught me some new sex moves while getting me in shape. After months of doing a lot of research and not finding anything, I decided to create my own company and named it Evoleros, which means evolving into a Sex God “Eros.”
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a business is very difficult, especially in California, and while working a full-time job. I spent a lot of late nights, early mornings, and weekends creating my business, leaving very little time to have a personal life. However, the most challenging part is promoting it. Even though it’s more of a yoga/fitness class due to the sexual content, social media platforms will not promote it, which has to lead me to spend a lot of money in other forms of advertisement that haven’t been too successful. But I know without struggle, success has no value, and I’m just blessed to have opportunities like this.
Evoleros – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Evoleros specializes in Sexercises by combining Fitness, Yoga, and Sexual Positions. Not only do we teach you different sex moves that will help spice up your love life, but our innovative classes are designed to strengthen muscles, promote flexibility, and increase stamina resulting in a more happier, confident, and healthier relationship.
Each sexual position is done like an exercise, which makes our classes so fun and comfortable enough to do in front of anyone. Even for the shyest and most private of people. No matter what age, gender, ethnicity, size, or sexual orientation, Evoleros embraces and welcomes everyone!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment was when Evoleros was featured in an article, and couples from all over the United States would come by and take a class when they came to visit Los Angeles. I had couples visiting from North Carolina, Maryland, Chicago, Atlanta, Tennessee, and more. Hearing how they heard about my company and couldn’t wait to try the class, almost brought tears to my eyes. Having an idea in your head and watching it grow into reality and then seeing people actually enjoy doing it, is such an amazing feeling, words can not even describe it.
