Meet Andrew Revell and Julia Hasbrook of Canndeux in West Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Revell and Julia Hasbrook.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Andrew and  Julia. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We own a line of CBD products called Canndeux. We started looking into CBD when both of us started having health issues at a much-too-early age. Julia was dealing with a major upcoming open-heart surgery to repair one of her valves and Andrew had just had his own heart attack the year prior. And we were only in our 40’s. We had heard a little bit about CBD and it’s benefits, but it was hard sifting through so much misinformation, and brands that were just flat out vague about who they were, where the CBD was coming from, and what it did. Keep in mind, this was about three years ago, so the education out there about CBD was far less than it is now.

As we learned more and more about CBD we became frustrated with how other brands were doing it. You see, Andrew and myself come from marketing and sales backgrounds and our other two founding partners, Jason Lau and Brian Nesbitt, have thrived in advertising and social media. Together we began researching how we could create our own brand – a brand that was transparent and high quality – one that people could trust and know without a doubt, they were getting the purest CBD in its most potent form. Too many brands use cheap CBD, which is a non-organically farm, or they use cutting agents, while others use a smaller dosage and confuse consumers with their labeling. People buy theirs and then it’s sad because they miss out on CBD’s benefits. That’s what we’re up against, but in knowing how it’s helped us, we know it’s worth the challenge to get Canndeux in anyone’s hands who it can help.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Who would have thought trailblazing a product that was recently considered illegal throughout the country would throw up so many roadblocks? From banking to procurement, to find the highest quality CBD, to the what-should-be-easy process of marketing it – it has been a challenging journey. But honestly, we are so proud of what we’ve done, and what we’ve created, that every hurdle is now worn as a badge of honor.

When news started to break about the trouble with other vape pens, it was a moment of clarity and peace for us, we had taken the time to create quality products with no short cuts – no cutting agents or questionable materials, so we could rest easy in that moment, proud that what we were putting out the best, and safest CBD products possible.

Please tell us about Canndeux.
We’re a company that provides the purest, highest-quality cannabidiol (CBD). We are transparent, honest and focused on improving the health of everyone. We are 100% full spectrum, 100% organically farmed, Non-GMO, American grown, 0% THC, therefore legal and safe to use.

Canndeux CBD is legally manufactured by the only hemp company to meet the requirements needed to be issued a certification issued a Certificate of Free Sale and a Manufactured Food Establishment License by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment.

Canndeux CBD means peace of mind, from its benefits to your ability to trust our products.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
We spent a lot of time developing a brand with partners that didn’t value marketing and the time and financial involvement that it takes to get your message out there. We learned a lot about the industry, but we found the best clients are ourselves and our unique passion we bring to the CBD space. In other words, at the beginning, we should have trusted our gut and struck out on this adventure by ourselves. We developed Canndeux because we knew we could! And we did!
