The YJACK family-owned business launched in late 2019 and stands by their personal approach to making an impact of crafting essential staples that are both ethical and economical.
YJACK is dedicated to fostering our community in designing the best quality garments that cater to your everyday wardrobe pieces that remain long-lasting even after continuous washes. Each style is crafted with our trademarked Exfina cotton that took years to master to become the most enchanting silky-sheen cotton, with an alluring weight of wardrobe classics.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
YJACK launched its LA-based online store shortly before the Pandemic hit, and due to being a new business in the midst of the entire world shutting down, stay-at-home orders, and life-altering changes we found ourselves limited to opportunities as well as resources. New businesses usually have their challenges at the beginning when it comes to growing pains and we had an extra layer to add on to it due to the unforeseen circumstances we were all facing.
A year later, we are at a place where restrictions have just been lifted and we are gradually seeing some growth in our audience as well as expanding our brand awareness. We had to find new ways of connecting with consumers and trying alternative digital marketing strategies that would have worked different under normal conditions.
We also had to be extra patient with delays and new protocols for photoshoots and workspaces under Covid safety measures.
