Today we’d like to introduce you to Prince Kojo-Hilton.
Hi Prince, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up having a great passion for Art and creativity, I spent so much time all by myself doing what I love that brings me joy and happiness at a very tender age.
My mother Leticia Yaa Agyeiwaa Owiredu of blessed memory wanted something else for me and these were her words “Kojo I want you to study hard to become a pilot in future” little did she know then that my talent is so powerful that even becoming a pilot is a limitation., it took me so much efforts to make her understand which at the end she gave me her blessings.
My career journey wasn’t the easiest but the surest, with focus, perseverance and constant practice, I had my breakthrough and still aiming higher. I invested so much in developing myself mentally, spiritually and physically, transforming my talent into a skill that will benefit me, the people around me and the entire world at large. I made sure I properly positioned myself in the creative Arts industry globally.
I will give thanks to my Uncle Dr. Johnson Edu the former technical director; National theater of Ghana for taking his time to groom me and all the Art Masters that helped shape my career. My capabilities to draw, paint and visualize got me to study Art Direction and Production design in a film school at the (National Film and Television Institute) UniMAC which I graduated with a diploma certificate in 2014.
I have close to two decades of working experience in the creative Arts industry across the globe, I’m always ready to learn and share. To God be the glory.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Art till now has not gained freedom in my part of the world, Art careers are seen as a nonprofitable venture and not valued which is wiping the interest in the youth, that’s an obstacle which is not helping the creative Arts industry to grow.
My challenge at the moment is that; I have acquired soo much skills in many fields of my profession but not making relevant use of all because the creative Arts industry in my country lack knowledge in some of these areas and as a result they are unable to hire my services in their productions.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Hilwood Studio?

Our work includes Set design and construction for the film, television and theatre, Art direction and Production design for commercials, music videos and events, Scenic / 3D Illusion Painting, Make-up effects, Storyboards, Special costumes design, Model making and props design.
Our company is best known for making imagination a reality. What sets us apart is not making the norm and am really proud of always setting records and breaking it with mind-blowing works of Art. We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
😂 I love this question….I research a lot and I pay so much attention to my inner self when am alone, I play loud music and dance when am alone in my home Art studio painting.
