Today we’d like to introduce you to Neil Aaron.
Hi Neil, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
In 2018, as one of the first Americans to train in this incredible modality, I began studying Shiva Murti and was initiated in Bali by Master Teacher Ratu Nabe in early 2019. After many trainings in Bali under founder Ratu Nabe, he asked me to start teaching Shiva Murti to Americans and students from all over the globe. I opened The Shiva Murti Learning Center in 2020 and have led groups of my students to Bali to work directly with Ratu Nabe and trained over 100 Shiva Murti healers. My students range from people who just want to heal their families to professional healers with businesses. Although students are not required to go to Bali and are able to heal after the seven-week class, the ones that do find it to be one of the best adventures of their lives. I’ve been a teacher for over 25 years, and teaching people to heal using Shiva Murti is as rewarding as teaching a child to read. Once they have those tools, the world is open to do anything!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This has not been a smooth road or easy in any way. And it shouldn’t be! This modality is extremely powerful and should only be something that one has earned. Nothing in my life worth achieving has been free and easy. Obstacles are just an opportunity for me to go past my maximum. It feels like a game to me, even when painful or difficult. If I’m on my journey to something great and there’s a tree in the road, some might take it as a sign to stop or turn around and go home. I see it as a way I can be creative and find my way around it. I feel that I am here on this planet in this body one time and I have the choice to just “get by” or to expand past whatever I can even imagine. I choose expansion, even though it is the hardest road.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
The Shiva Murti Learning Center is a remote healing academy for students to learn Shiva Murti or Siwa Murti, as it’s called in Bali. This school offers all levels of training, an opportunity to travel to Bali and learn with the master teacher and founder (Ratu Nabe), and other courses and support. Level one is a seven-week, 2 hours per week class. After this training, students can heal family, friends, and pets! They are also eligible for the Bali training adventure.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Integrity is the most important thing to me. I pride myself on following through, being on time or early, and meaning what I say and saying what I mean. I am very direct and honest, and I appreciate when others are too. I am very old school and feel that my word is my bond. I also believe that honesty and sincerity are extremely important, as is kindness.
