Daily Inspiration: Meet Stephanie Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Brown.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I specialize in soul-to-soul communication. I believe people and animals, whether living or deceased, have souls. Suppose you are a person who believes that too, then I can assist you in communicating with your pets or communicating with people you love who are deceased. My background includes over 25 years as a licensed veterinary technician in small animal and exotics practices. That is the foundation of my animal experience, and then I added years of dog training and more education. I have been a learner my whole life! I love to explore the spiritual world finding new ways to reach across the bridge of communication and share the wisdom our deceased loved ones have to share. I completed my doctorate of metaphysics several years ago, and I currently have a practice specializing in Animal Communication and Life Coaching.

My clients are referred to me by other clients. Whether a new client wants to learn how their pet feels about end-of-life transition or how they want to approach a terminal illness, it is my gift to provide the owner with the information about their beloved pet clearly and directly. Some clients will contact me for behavior changes in their dog, cat, or horse. In the scheduled session, I will telepathically reach out to the pet, listen to its concerns, wants, issues, and desires, and provide that information to the owner. We can find a path forward where each has a voice/perspective as a team. I feel blessed to be able to assist people in communicating with their pets and deceased family.

As a life coach, I assist women and men in finding their true path in life, helping them develop confidence and direction. I provide support and perspective for them to identify why they are really here in this life. Where their motivation comes from, how they can live a more fulfilling life and walk with purpose as they achieve their life goals.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The smooth road is a relative term! When I was in veterinary medicine, it was a financial nail bitter about getting by. My chosen career was at a time there was no living wage. And no benefits; these were small business owners, and each employee wore many hats. Most employees were students or housewives looking for a small supplemental income. But most practices were made up of part-time employees at minimum wage. The network practices came along long after I left the field. I wandered from a solid career registered veterinary technician/hospital manager to pursue my love for understanding the spiritual world. In the process, I discovered the joy of embracing the term Pet Doula, assisting people and pets in improving and deepening their relationship with each other and the joy of supporting people devoted to growing and improving as a soul bound in the human condition.

I am truly grateful for all of the challenges, personal and professional; I faced in my 20’s, 30’s, and half of the 40:s. Those challenges taught me I believed in myself, how to face my fears, make good decisions, do research, and project a path forward.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Specialties: Pet Doula: Here are my conclusions as to what a Pet Medical Doula is:

A professional who provides support emotionally to owner and pet while facing medical hardship. Working as a health care team member alongside all other practitioners to help provide the very best care available to the pet and pet owner. Helping the owner and pet understand the Veterinarian’s recommendations for tests and treatment. Provide insight to the owner of how their beloved pet feels physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Assist the owner by educating them on what are the possibilities they and their pet will face on their journey together. Helping the owner access how their pet is truly doing while facing medical challenges. Listen to the concerns, and worries of both the owner and pet, then support each. Offer tips based on the experience of how to help make the pet more comfortable.

Animal Communicator: A professional who uses telepathic communication to contact other species and then voices the impressions to the owner. This skill assists the owner in making medical decisions, understanding why a pet has certain behaviors, or just simply being able to express the love between owner and pet.

Spiritual Advisor: As a clairvoyant, I can see and speak with master teachers, guardians, deceased family, and friends on the other side. I utilize this skill to assist people in connecting to their loved ones and bring wisdom from the deceased to the living.

Life Coach: I assist women and men in finding their heart song. What do they really want? Have they been in an unfulfilling career? Or is their career paused, and they want to jump to the next level? I help identify the cause of the frustration or disappointment and then assist my client in navigating to a more fulfilling future.

It is an incredible position to be at the end of my day and truly know I have helped a grieving pet parent or I am celebrating a massive win with a client at their achievement. Those are the days that are soul-fulfilling. Then there are the days when my honesty and direct approach can challenge a client. I care and have hope for them, and then the day comes that I see them again, and they start with: the last time we spoke, you said such and such. I was sure you did not know what you were talking about, and then the very thing you spoke of happened. This is the part I get to tell them from my heart: I am sorry you experienced that; I am so proud of you for learning from the experience.
