Daily Inspiration: Meet Panda$tackz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Panda$tackz.

Hi Panda$tackz, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I wish I had some amazing fairytale type story to tell but, the reality is I’m a simple guy born in Riverside, CA. I was raised by two incredible parents who always hustled and did what they could to make me the best kind of man…I’m definitely a cut from a different cloth. My parents raised me with morals, respect, and a strong work ethic. After my dad’s passing, it became even more important to keep those values and live by them every day. I got my start in music at an early age. I remember watching Mexican icons on TV such as Vicente Fernandez, Juan Gabriel, and thinking to myself – “Man, I wonder how they remember all the lyrics to their songs?” I wanted to be able to move people the way their music moved me, and I wanted to experience the joy they showed while performing. Luckily, music came as second nature to me, which is funny because, in my family, I’m a first-generation musician, so I’ve had to teach myself everything I know. My dad’s passing has had a lot to do with where I am now. I never got the chance to show him what I can do. Now, I must use the inspiration he gave me to show the world what Panda$tackz is capable of giving through my music.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Ha… I wish that I could say that everything has been going smoothly and things just flow. In this game, you need to give it your all and keep going no matter what. Understanding that setbacks will happen and not letting those deter you from your overall goals is essential to succeeding in this industry. It’s been a VERY tough road, from losing loved ones and relationships, sacrificing holidays, special occasions. You name it, and it’s probably happened. But I’m grateful for all the challenging moments I’ve had. They’ve made me a stronger individual, and I am very thankful for all that I’ve achieved so far. Nothing I’ve earned has been handed to me, which makes me appreciate every bit of success a whole lot more.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do it all, from writing to singing to producing. But my strong suit is definitely writing. I’m known for having a unique way of putting words together and making something out of nothing. There’s something about the way things come together when I’m writing a song… It’s like putting together a puzzle. It’s hard to explain, it’s just on a whole other level. All of the opportunities that are presenting themselves lately, which are almost entirely due to me putting myself out there, are what I’m most proud of. The attention my music gets, making the music videos, seeing the concepts for the music videos come to life, and watching the views for them grow, knowing that my music is resonating with people. The feedback and support from the fans is what I treasure the most. Having people who follow and encourage me to continue to express myself and make music to the fullest is everything to me. I love them for that.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck? I believe in making your own luck. Luck doesn’t go looking for you. You have to get up every day and make those opportunities happen. If success depended on luck, why is it that artists who put in the work and consistency are the ones that get “lucky?” Perseverance, a positive mindset, and hard work pay off more than waiting for a stroke of luck.
