Daily Inspiration: Meet Megan Farzaneh

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Farzaneh.

Hi Megan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I had the privilege of growing up in a salon, my dad has been a salon owner since before I was born.

Music festivals are my space, I attended my first event in 2015 and figured out a way to incorporate them into my business by 2018.

In 2020, my fiancée connected me with one of her artists that also owned a wig company. I was able to fully express my art and potential, by 2021 I made and sold over 100 hand-crafted custom wigs.

It took some time to cultivate my niche and carve my lane, but I’m very happy with where I am and can’t wait to see what I end up doing next.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
HAHA absolutely not. The road to my success was bumpy, I made a few wrong turns, definitely got rear-ended and T-boned as well.

But I actually appreciate those moments more than the good ones. All success stories have their challenging chapters.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Hair is my art canvas. I specialize in the majority of the basic salon services because of my dad. But I am most known for making high fashion hairstyles, custom wigs, and festival hair.

I’m proud of my ability to understand my client’s visions and bring them to life.

Anybody familiar with my brand is able to point out my work. Detail is so important and quality comes before quantity always.

How do you think about happiness?
Making others happy. Knowing somebody is going to leave an experience I provided and receive compliments while feeling good about themselves is so satisfying.
