Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Lippy.
Hi Erica, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
One thing that you must know is I have been on a constant pursuit to discover my passion and purpose—it has taken a long while and many wrong turns to determine what it was that I was made to do. After falling into a career that I once said I would only do for one year, turned into 17 years, I finally gained clarity over the pandemic by diving deep into my own personal development. For the past 17 years, I have made the name for being one of the most sought-out Fit Models in Los Angeles because I have the right figure to fit for clothing brands and expertise in the field. Although I knew I had a much bigger purpose to serve than making clothes fit well.
My journey of self-discovery and personal development took off well before the pandemic after experiencing a series of heartbreaks. With a history of challenging romantic partnerships, I came to realize the single factor that remained consistent from one relationship to the next: myself. I realized that unless I worked on myself first, this cycle of heartbreak and hurt wasn’t going to change. So I listened to that quiet guiding voice in my head, dug deep, and started to do the work.
I got a life coach, rewrote my limiting beliefs, and redefined what I wanted out of my life. Slowly but surely, things began to shift. I began to stand in my worth, speak my truth, and let my light shine. The result was a newfound love for myself that was reflected in every aspect of my life, from my relationships to my work. I began to exude confidence from the inside out, attracted the right partner, and reconnected to my soul in a way that left me feeling lighter, more free, and better able to see the bright path in front of me. One where I could clearly step into my purpose, live authentically and share my story with others.
I then started my podcast, ‘Passion Love Pursuit’ in April 2018 to help others on their journey in becoming their best self so they too can live their life more passionately and purposefully.
Being on this journey with you, I have been able to discover what I’m feeling most called to do. My purpose is to inspire and impact womens’ lives by authentically shining my light so they, too, can shine theirs. I believe that every woman deserves to shine the light within—to feel worthy, loved, and in full heart-body-soul alignment. But I also know that the path to get there isn’t always easy. That is why I want to help support women in becoming who they are made to be, so that they can have and attract all that you desire. I want women to feel worthy of the life they dream of and give them the tools they need to make that dream their reality. For me, it’s not a question of if, but when. Every woman has the light in them, all they need to do is (re)ignite it and share it with the world.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In 5th grade I discovered I had a learning disability, which in turn affected my identity. I always felt I wasn’t as smart as others.
When I was younger I was in a relationship that was for 10 years (13-23 years young) with a partner that emotionally abused me. He made me feel less than, unworthy, and stupid. It inforced deeper what I always felt at a young age. I carried this feeling for so long, that I felt I had to prove my worthiness in other ways.
I had been heartbroken by the man I thought I was destined to spend my life with after five years together.
Had lost all my savings and had gone into debt supporting my relationship and wrong decisions.
Got involved in the wrong relationships that never would lead to where I wanted to go, which led to many heartbreaks.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Going to summer camp. I went to a Day camp nearby where I grew up in Rolling Hills, CA. We swam every day and did some different activities during the rest of the day. Activities such as painting, hiking, tie-dying, or playing red-rover. It was always something new and entertaining. Something I will always cherish that my parents enrolled my sister and I into for the summertime.
