Today we’d like to introduce you to Marina Girgis.
Hi Marina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Born in Egypt and raised in Kuwait, I learned adaptability from a young age. As a young adult, I went back to Egypt to study but had to leave when the Egyptian revolution started.
My family and I left for the U.S when I was 19. There I tapped into my adaptability skills and resilience to navigate a new culture while seeking asylum.
My experience in multiple cultures led me to develop my power as a communicator, a power I also explored creatively through fashion storytelling during my time in fashion school in the U.S.
After finding freedom through creative expression, I ended up working in a toxic workplace in the fashion industry that made me feel stuck creatively and personally.
I decided to quit corporate and reclaim my freedom by building a brand that allows me to live my truth and the life of freedom I always wanted.
My experience and personal growth developed into a branding approach for those who refuse to fit in a box, especially freedom-obsessed, multi-passionate women who want to live vivaciously on their own terms.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In my opinion, the journey to personal freedom and ownership over your life is not meant to be smooth. This is what messes up some people, thinking that the journey (if it’s meant for them) will come with ease to them.
My biggest challenge was actually working through my very own self-sabotage and self-doubt. I was scared of getting precisely what I wanted that I often tried to reject opportunities and expansion to “protect” myself. This is also a challenge that never just dissolves because you “did the work” it’s a constant work in progress that we as entrepreneurs will continue to explore and heal throughout this journey.

As a multi-passionate and creative soul, I am passionate about encouraging others to strategically tap into their intuition and expertise to build pivot-proof brands that grow with them and work for today’s fast-changing world.
In my business, I offer services and free educational content that will help those who refuse to fit into boxes and identify as multi-passionate creative souls to EXPAND beyond the generic “one size fits all” advice on business and build their profitable brand.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Living life with so much joy DAILY! That is why I named my business Livin Vivaciously.
This includes a feeling of ownership over your schedule, time, relationships, location, income, and emotions. Often times we humans are living through the motions instead of flowing with joy through life, creating a life that makes us feel ALIVE!
This doesn’t need to look like millions in the bank or jet setting every other week, this can simply be, waking up and going to sleep feeling content about where you are and what you are doing.
