Today we’d like to introduce you to Abri RaCheal, Mary Jane Art Company Cannabis Pop Art.
Abri, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I’ve always had a passion for art. I was able to pursue that passion at a very young age because of my mother. She searched high and low for a place where I could express my creative freedom. I went to a gazillion different art classes and was able to study under a number of local artists. These creatives helped shaped me into who I am today. Every day I continue to see more pieces of them in myself and I love it.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I struggled finding my style. My brand. What kind of artist was I going to be and what kind of message was I going to share with the world. I experimented with different art forms and emulated my pieces off of the ones my heroes created. I was a lost soul.
Then I was introduced to Mary Jane and like many others, I was skeptical of the tender topic. But as I surrounded myself more, I learned that this amazing plant changed lives. I wanted to be apart of this growing movement. My artistic goal was to create something that not only made myself happy but brought joy to others.
I want to share Mary Jane with the world and help them understand the healing benefits and love that it brings to me and thousands of others. Everyone should be able to have access to mother nature’s goodness.
My pieces are 7.5×7.5″ wood blocks covered in acrylic paint, glitter, beads and resin. Each piece is unique and tells a different story. Mary Jane Art Company is the future of Cannabis Pop Art.
How do you think about success, as an artist, and what do quality do you feel is most helpful?
To be successful and achieve your dreams, you must never stop believing.
You must believe that you are the best and that you can do anything you set your mind to. Your dreams must be your oxygen.
What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
You can see my pieces on my Instagram @MaryJaneArtCompany or my website MaryJaneArtCompany.com.
