It all started 28 years ago when traveling the world playing English rugby League around the world Australia, Spain, and been the first ever rugby league team to play in west Germany after the Berlin wall was knocked down also the only sports club to be sponsored by the Giant company McDonald’s . As I was in Spain I went to a seminar on epoxy resin and new straight away the potential this could have and begun the start of Design Plus Spain and Design Plus Morocco followed by design Plus UK. As far as origin stories goes, ours is pretty straightforward. I started my professional life as an architect. I was always the type of kid to doodle on pads and snap photos on cameras if I was left unattended. It turned out to be the perfect mixture of coincidence and skill, as I ended up being more drawn to the lens than the drafting table. I knew it was hard to do it as my main job, especially since I carried through with architecture to the end. It wasn’t until a random day in Central Park in New York City that I realized I wanted to give this a shot. Read more>>

Everything we do at TAUBLIEB Films is story driven and this comes from background as an award-winning journalist, having been a NYC writer and editor for publications from The Washington Post, The Village Voice, US Magazine, NY Times and Surfer and Surfing magazines. I transitioned from the printed word, where I was once submitted for a Pulitzer Prize for investigative journalism, to the video production and then tv and film. On the drama side, we specialize in fact-based stories from my journalism background, most notably leading to the true-life inspired feature film “The Vow,” starring Channing Tatum, which grossed $200 million at the box office, along with award-winning, fact-based television movies for Showtime, NBC and CBS. Casery started on the balcony of our CEO, Matthew’s, Glendale apartment. We started as a custom phone case company with the idea that each person could create his or her ideal phone case. We quickly realized our bread and butter is design, so we put together a line of branded cases which became extremely popular. Our first wholesale show was exactly one year ago, and that’s where our sales took off. Instead of showing our product at tech shows, we went to only fashion shows. Read more>>

We are a couple who have been married for 14 years. We both come from a corporate back ground but have always shared a passion for creativity through photography, writing and painting. Shawn and I discovered a love for film making and took several classes and then started working with independent film production companies in LA and Hollywood. Being community driven we became involved with local film festivals and community events. We found that the Entertainment industry was a little more self driven then what we wanted to identify with and decided to start out on our own in 2009. Read more>>

Sensitive. Over-emotional. Dramatic. Open. A girl’s girl. Hopeless Romantic. These are the worlds that I have heard people use when describing me over the years. I even had a friend turn to at a game of poker and ask, “have you investigated whether you are manic depressive?”. This was when I was describing my latest break up with a verbally abusive boyfriend. Ahhh….good times. Then, I took a yoga class. It was 1996. I went with an intention to heal, yet again, another broken heart. Read more>>

We are brothers — not the “from another mother” colloquially endeared type but actual, true-to-form brothers. It appeared that the universe had been colluding to give us a rough time at the start of 2016 and appropriately created circumstances that lead to our losing our jobs close to the same time just after the start of Spring. Despite the feeling of an “Alaskan Winter” having set upon us in April, this turned out to be a blessing we were simply unaware of at the time. Read more>>

Founders Ale House is a product of countless hours of running food, serving tables, bartending and everything in between. My first experience in the service industry dates much further back than my working years, it actually goes back to when I was fresh out of diapers, sitting and waiting for my Mom and/or Grandmother to get off work at “La Scala” in Toluca Lake. I vividly remember sitting in the red leather booths drawing on server pads pretending to wait tables. Read more>>

I have been in the Entertainment Industry for over 25 years. When I was 19, I moved to Los Angeles from Cleveland, Ohio. I have been lucky enough to consistently work in this industry which is a difficult task. As the years went by, I knew deep down inside all the knowledge I was gaining needed to be shared with the new actors starting in the business, and seasoned actors who were at a standstill. Even with this passion, I wasn’t sure how it was going to happen. Read more>>

I was this lucky little kid who had the chance to see his sister; who is a professional watercolor painter, bring life to the canvas. With her encouragement, and my passion for creation, I started painting and whenever she had an exhibition I was there with my little pieces trying to sell them to the crowd like in the early 90’s. Eventually, I learned how to use computers and programming from my brothers and I was loving it. By then, internet was becoming more and more popular and I was thirsty to learn. Read more>>

I am the creator and President of The Performing Arts Coaching Services, Inc. Few theatrical coaches have had the opportunity I have had to work as both a theater professional and an educator in both New York City and Los Angeles. For over 17 years, I have used my educational and theatrical expertise to help thousands of students to unlock their talent. After earning my Bachelor degree from Hofstra University, I immediately decided to pursue a Master of Education in Theater and English from New York University.
