Unveiling Pegasus: The Creative World of Penelope

Today we’d like to introduce you to Penelope Dizad.

Hi Penelope, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I began my career in the film and television industry after graduating from Toronto Film School, working for several years as a production coordinator and manager. Over time, a shift in my career led me into the world of live events, and what began as a new direction quickly turned into a whole new world for me. This evolution led to the launch of Pegasus Entertainment, which is now based out of Toronto and Los Angeles and operates internationally. Today, we focus on creating impactful, cinematic live experiences around the globe.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been smooth, and I don’t think it ever will be, because the entertainment industry, like any other, is constantly evolving. There’s always new technology, new trends, and new complexities that keep you on your toes. With growth comes new challenges, and the learning never really stops. One of the biggest lessons has been the importance of finding great team members and nurturing strong relationships. Through it all, I’ve learned to stay adaptable and solution-focused, which makes every success feel that much more earned. At the end of the day, what truly matters are the experiences we create and the relationships we nurture along the way.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Oh, if you want to talk business, we could go on forever! In a nutshell, at Pegasus, we’re all about crafting unforgettable experiences. Whether it’s an electrifying concert or an intimate comedy show, we bring fresh energy and a modern edge to everything we do. A great example is when we brought the young classical pianist Alessandro Martire for his second U.S. tour, and he was even featured in the LA Times for how unique and youthful his classical performances are. We believe in working with artists we genuinely believe in and creating moments that linger long after the show ends. We’re young, we’re dynamic, and we like to think we bring a fresh perspective to an industry that’s often rooted in tradition. At the end of the day, our mission is simple: to create experiences that resonate and connect.

What’s next?
Right now, we have a bunch of exciting tours lined up for this fall and heading into 2026, which will definitely keep us on our toes. Alongside those, we’re also working on a few new projects that I can’t fully reveal just yet, but they’re exciting and could take us in a whole new direction if everything comes together the way we’re hoping. It’s a big season of growth for us, and we’re leaning into it.
