We’re looking forward to introducing you to Norris Duckett III. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Norris, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for is full of challenges and problem solving. Which why I appreciate the few people I talk to within my inner circle. For instance I’m responding to emails constantly through the day as well as calls. As well as I’m a dad first and I take care of my children. Then there is a long list of to do’s with Krump for me and my team I work with.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I guess I should begin with KRUMP SOCIETY I’m the founder of the organization and have been diligently working on a few different projects with my team and people will be very interested in as one is a campaign called Krump4theolympics. I’m a fellow member of the Krump community and my pkn (professional Krump name) is Cosmic. This bring me to one of the other businesses Norris Photography I went to school to become knowledgeable in this skill/craft because I always had the understanding that images are very powerful and the community needs them. It’s a honor I have that some of my photos are hanging on their walls as that has been a contribution from me to my community as a thank you. Also captured headshots to help with professional development for profile photos on social media and helping get booked for work. As of recently I also just started making music as well my first albulm release will be October 13, 2025 spooky huh would say the date. The album is called “The Release” proceeds of this creation will help towards the Krump4theolympics financially. Feel free to go stream as it’s going to be available on most platforms. Just to be clear look for The Release by Cosmic. Thanks in advance.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Most recently I would have to write that helped complete my view on the world as I’ve had many experiences that weren’t all positive, non the less I have a way better understanding of many things due to some negative impacts to me where I realized why not me and took on proper accountability and choose to get to “it” the it being my dreams and completion of them.
What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
I had to make the choice to stop holding back. Failing wasn’t the difficult the difference was made when I went into a relentless mode. Having. That kind of mentality your perspective shifts into proper focus on your purpose in my opinion.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
You can only do this thing. People tend to want frame/box a persons talents into they only do this. This isn’t true if you study the crafts and build your skills you can do anything, as everything is connected the question is how will you connect things?
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
