Story & Lesson Highlights with Gina Maier Vincent

We recently had the chance to connect with Gina Maier Vincent and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Gina Maier , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Every day begins in stillness — that sacred moment where I connect with my soul before the world starts asking for pieces of me. I honor my Divine Resources — time, energy, attention, money, and voice — as treasures, using them with intention.

Mornings are for creation: writing, filming, mentoring clients privately through my Exquisitely Aligned Executive Mentorship, or recording for my podcast and TV show.

Afternoons are often spent connecting — collaborating with my team, partners, or magazine editors. But some of my most cherished moments are spent in my yard — sipping tea, trimming the roses, and grounding myself through prayer and meditation. It’s my daily reminder that beauty, when tended to, multiplies.

Evenings? Now that we are empty nesters, the evening is for gratitude and genuine connection with my husband, Mark. My days are a dance between purpose and pleasure — creation and stillness, ambition and grace.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Gina Maier Vincent — Founder of Exquisitely Aligned, an empowerment brand and movement helping high-profile women and men align their inner truth with how they show up in the world. My work bridges soul and sophistication — helping clients lead with brilliance, love with depth, and create with purpose.

For over 20 years, I’ve helped individuals uncover their soul-level truths and live beyond the one-size-fits-all paradigm. What makes Exquisitely Aligned unique is its fusion of luxury, beauty, and spiritual depth — it’s about creating a life that not only looks exquisite but feels exquisite. I’m currently celebrating the success of my award-winning book, Exquisitely Aligned: A Pocket Guide to Your Magnificent Future, which is now available in audio.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a curious, creative little girl who believed anything was possible — until the world began teaching me about rules, expectations, and “shoulds.” I learned how to succeed in that system… but at the cost of my soul’s whispers. Reclaiming her — the bold, playful, intuitive girl who colored outside the lines — has been my greatest success. She’s the one who leads my work today.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes. After college, I did what I thought I was supposed to do — I followed the formula for success. I left the man I loved and relocated to another state to prioritize my career. On paper, it all looked perfect: the job, the title, the city. But inside, I felt empty. The work was draining, the spark I’d once felt for life dimmed, and I began to question everything I’d been taught about what “success” really meant.

That chapter of my life — leaving someone I loved for a version of success that didn’t love me back — cracked me open. It was my first real lesson in alignment. I realized I’d been chasing achievement instead of fulfillment, external validation instead of inner truth. That painful awakening became the foundation for everything I teach today through Exquisitely Aligned: how to stop performing for the world and start living in full alignment with your desires.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They’d say I care deeply about people being seen, heard, valued, understood, and cherished. I believe each person carries divine brilliance meant to be expressed — not suppressed. They’d also say I bring elegance and joy into every space I enter. Whether it’s mentoring a client, supporting a charity, or sharing champagne with friends — I see life itself as art, and connection as its masterpiece.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Sixteen years ago, when my husband, Mark, received a double organ transplant, my perspective on life changed forever. Watching someone you love fight for their life reshapes what you value and how you spend your time, money, energy, attention, and voice.

That experience became my wake-up call — the moment I stopped living by default and began living by design. Since then, I’ve intentionally poured my Divine Resources only into what fuels legacy: beauty, elegance, luxury, intimacy, and allure.

So if I knew I had ten years left, I wouldn’t change much — I’ve already been living that way for years. Mark’s journey taught me that life is exquisitely fragile and profoundly sacred — too extraordinary to waste on obligation, distraction, or anything less than what truly matters.
