Rising Stars: Meet Sabrina Percario

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Percario.

Sabrina Percario

Hi Sabrina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My journey commenced in 2013 when I secured a scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Fine Arts at the New York Film Academy. I am a dedicated self-employed film actress/producer with a proven track record in effective time management, skilled negotiation, and meticulous budgeting.

Together with my dedicated business partner, Raja Deka, we established Touch A Life Productions, uniting our efforts to inspire and connect with humanity. We are collaboratively creating two feature films, “Happy” and “Living The Dream,” both intimately inspired by our life experiences.

Our current focus centers on “A Halloween Feast.” Directed, written, produced, and acted by Guile Branco. We’re excited to announce that our premiere event will be held on August 8th at 7 p.m., hosted at Lumiere Music Hall in Beverly Hills. Friday 9th until 15th, we’ll have a theatrical run at the same location.

The core of my mission is to develop projects that resonate with and inspire audiences, conveying a powerful and positive message that can make a difference in the world.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been a smooth road, just because I always focus on the solution; also, the only person who can say No to me is myself, and if I believe in my work and my mission, I’ll keep doing it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
One of my favorite projects is my inaugural film “Julia,” a heartfelt tribute to my late mother, who passed away in 2014. In our final conversation, she learned of my scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Fine Art in Los Angeles. With unwavering belief, she told me, “Honey, I’ve seen it; you’re going to make it.” Her faith in me preceded my self-assurance, and it felt as though she bestowed her blessing upon me. Two years later, I crafted a film dedicated to her memory, expressing my profound gratitude for her amazing support and a way to share my grief. I credit this endeavor as the reason I continue to thrive as a filmmaker in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. This project received numerous accolades and marked my transformation into a producer, driven by the desire to create narratives that inspire and touch people’s hearts.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
My advice is simple. Believe in yourself and know that you have a voice that deserves to be heard.
