Rising Stars: Meet Raimundo Farmer Ii of Compton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Raimundo Farmer Ii

Hi Raimundo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began rapping at the age of 12 in an afterschool program in Compton. At 19 I released my first EP as manic Panic. 2022 I released my second EP. In April of 2024 I changed my name to my legal name and released my first album, Suspended. As of right now I’m doing a theatrical rollout for the release of my latest pursuit, Ghetto $ymphony.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have schizoaffective disorder so I experience symptoms of both bipolar and schizophrenia. It’s been a challenge but this album is about overcoming that obstacle and being confident in who I am and where I’m from.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I sing, rap and produce. I have all creative control over my projects and endeavors. I make videos online and post often to my IG story. I captivate my audience with audacity and the utmost realism of an honest persona.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I am currently performing an online escapade to grow my audience. So follow me on socials at @raimundofarmerii and allow me to entertain you.
