Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Tabak

Hi Rachel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Ever since I can remember I have had a natural knack for sales, starting with selling the most Girl Scout cookies and magazines at AE Wright elementary school (which earned me “Principal for the Day”). I learned early on that people value saving time and money, and that’s how you earn their trust. After working in my parents’ auto parts business and selling Sue Wong dresses, I developed strong listening skills and an ability to deliver results that matter.

My real estate journey began in 2013, after working in sales and negotiations for over 20 years. Growing up in Calabasas, I’ve seen this community grow and have a deep connection to the area, which gives me an edge when helping clients buy or sell. I’m passionate about making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, using the skills and work ethic I’ve developed over the years.

I’ve worked with everyone from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors, and many have become lifelong friends. What sets me apart is my focus on my clients’ needs—I always listen and work tirelessly to make their real estate dreams a reality. My sales background and deep local knowledge give me a unique perspective, whether I’m negotiating or offering advice.

Additionally, my experience studying and working in cities like London, Paris, Milan, and Shanghai has given me valuable international business insights, which I apply to every deal. Whether helping clients or serving on local boards, my goal is to make meaningful connections and help people achieve their real estate goals.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. Ever transaction is different, and I learn new things every day.

Thank you for the opportunity to share more about my business.

I specialize in leasing, buying, and selling homes, with a focus on helping my clients find the perfect space that aligns with their needs and dreams. What sets me apart is my deep commitment to understanding my clients on a personal level. I pride myself on putting their interests first, truly listening to their goals, and working tirelessly to achieve them.

One of my proudest moments in my career was helping a family transition from living in a converted garage for 19 years into a spacious 1,800-square-foot home—just in time for Thanksgiving. It was such a joy to be part of their journey and to witness their excitement as they stepped into their new home. That experience reminds me of why I do what I do: it’s all about changing lives, one home at a time.

Clients often describe me as reliable, honest, and someone who fosters long-term relationships. In fact, many of my former clients have become close friends over the years, which I consider one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Whether you’re looking to buy, sell, or lease, my mission is to guide you through the process with professionalism and care.

Ultimately, I want people to know that real estate is more than a transaction to me—it’s a chance to help someone create a better future.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I was fortunate to grow up in a loving home in Calabasas, where I was given a wonderful education and opportunities to explore the world. One of my favorite childhood memories is traveling with my parents, both locally and internationally. Those trips were filled with adventure, discovery, and quality time with my family. They taught me to appreciate different cultures, cherish relationships, and embrace new experiences—values I carry with me in my personal and professional life today.
