Today we’d like to introduce you to OTGFIVE.
Hi OTGFIVE, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Getting started in music for me started when I was very young. Watching guys like 50cent & The Game create music and have some of the dopest cars & clothes was just something that was always a cool thing that was also inspiring. I remember getting my first CD of a G-Unit album and listening to it over and over again. Only being in elementary at the time, I didn’t understand everything they were saying but it was clear to me they were able to connect with the people. Same thing with other artists like Jay-Z & Kanye who I also listened to a lot as a kid while going on drives with my pops.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It can be tough and very time-consuming being a perfectionist and wanting every song to have quality and sound as perfect as possible, but it’s always worth it in the end.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an artist, songwriter, entrepreneur, and more. I have a really good ear for music and hussle with ambition that keeps me focused on making new achievements. I’m very proud of my ability to create music at a high-quality level and help other artists as I executive produce projects for my Label OverTimeGrind. I’m also proud of my ability to be able to lead but follow when necessary. I’m well known for being a thinking individual who’s always innovating and working on new projects. I’m also known for being a lyricist who loves the art of music. The thing that sets me apart from others is my uprising. I have my own story to tell that’s special, my life & how I came up and grew through stages of life are all unique to me.

I rock with books by Robert Greene & Donald Passman. They’re both really good authors who help with self-growth. I also listen to the Eli Dapson podcast, Earn Your Leisure, and the Joe Budden Podcast.
