Hi Joanne, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hair became a love language of mine while still in middle school. I pursued my dream shortly after graduating high school. Shortly after breaking both of my legs in a tragic car accident, I thought my dreams of doing hair was officially over, but in reality it was just the new beginning my businesses desired. My brand was reborn along with my spirit & drive. Beastnbeautii describes how much of a Beast I am in this beauty industry. Often underestimated yet creatively made.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My slogan is “It’s BEAUTII n the Struggle” Life throws us all stones and depending how you react and respond will help mold who you are. I can’t explain how many times I have failed or started over. I have learned it’s not about how many times I have to start over now I can focus on finishing.

Beastnbeautii provides a vibe that can not be purchased. I create an image & bring the best looks out of anyone. I specialize in natural Haircare services and protective hairstyles. Proficient in hair growth and maintenance. I am most proud of who I am and what I have become. No matter the circumstances, I can never quit or give up. I am most known and appreciated for the way I style and treat all hair textures. My clients admire my braids and bundles.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love Hollywood and LA. I love the drive and hustle the city teaches you. I appreciate the opportunity to dream and learn from others here. I despise of the homelessness and poverty here.
