Rising Stars: Meet Insightful Babes

Today we’d like to introduce you to Insightful Babes. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Insightful Babes was created back in June 2019 by these two amigas Diana Contreras and Maria Garibay, as a latina-owned Brand and Podcast.

Coming from Hispanic traditional beliefs, Diana and Maria decided to share their entrepreneurship journey, ups, and downs, inspire, empower, and help others who are not being themselves because of fear, or because of traditional beliefs.

Insightful Babes is an English, Spanish, Spanglish platform for all of the hustlers, the dreamers, the outsiders, and the visionaries out there!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
When we started Insightful Babes we had no idea how to even start a Podcast! We had to learn so much along the way through trial and error. We started our podcast in 2019 and we had so many plans for 2020 but the pandemic happened. Covid showed us that we had to pivot and think outside the box, but we always try to keep a positive attitude no matter what!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Podcast and Brand. Insightful Babes is an English, Spanish, Spanglish platform for all of the hustlers, the dreamers, the outsiders, and the visionaries out there! ​

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
SO hard to pick only one so here is a couple of them! We have learned that it’s so important to build community and keep like-minded people around you. If you can’t find a community of people that you can relate to, build it! We have learned that it’s so important to trust in your journey no matter the ups and downs, God always has our back. We have learned that mistakes do not define you and you can always start fresh no matter what your past looks like. We learned that we can’t be afraid to be a voice with others and support others. We also learned the importance of investing on yourself and being yourself!
