Today we’d like to introduce you to Hellen Li.
Hi hellen, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Since I was a child, I’ve dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. I’ve always hoped that through my understanding of clothing, I could help people feel more confident in themselves.
Along the way, I explored other fields and disciplines, but in the end, I remained committed to pursuing fashion design. Like many new graduates, I felt lost at first. But by planning my career path, experimenting with different styles and areas, and identifying my weaknesses, I was able to step out of my comfort zone and grow.
Currently, my focus is on sportswear design. It’s not my strongest area, which is exactly why I believe it’s important to challenge myself and deepen my understanding of it.
To become an outstanding designer, I know I still have a lot to explore—both within myself and across various design fields. But as long as I stay committed, I believe I’ll eventually grow into the designer I aspire to be
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The beginning of this journey wasn’t smooth. Like many college students, I was filled with doubt and uncertainty, unsure if I had made the right choice.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a fashion designer who infuses my personal understanding of the world into each of my creations. Through my designs, I hope to connect with others on a deeper, soulful level—and to inspire people to embrace life with more love and passion.
What I’m most proud of is using fashion as a language to express emotion and individuality. I believe clothing has the power to boost confidence and reveal a person’s inner charm. On this journey, I’m committed to continuous learning—especially in understanding how to design more effectively to help people feel their best, inside and out.
What sets me apart is my intention behind every piece: not just to make something beautiful, but to create work that resonates, uplifts, and empowers.
What are your plans for the future?
In the future, I hope to continue deepening my understanding of myself and the world around me—and to transform those insights into meaningful design work. My goal is that everyone who falls in love with my creations also falls in love with themselves.
I want my work to be more than just fashion—I want it to carry emotion, healing, and inspiration. I’m looking forward to creating pieces that touch people’s hearts and remind them of their own beauty, strength, and uniqueness. I hope to inspire and uplift every person who encounters my designs
