Rising Stars: Meet Heath Chadwick of Newport Beach CA.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Heath Chadwick.

Heath, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started in construction straight out of high school in 1987. How was the roofer back then and I loved it. From there I went into being a stacker that’s rolling trusses for housing tracks. Anyone that knows anything about the construction industry is that is constantly changing in regards to what jobs are available and who’s hiring who so you learn to adapt and take the jobs you can get. That being said I’ve done Electrical, Plumb and line, framing, drywall installation and Painting.
As the years go by and your body starts to wear down you learn to look for the jobs that are a little easier on the body. That’s why I’ve gone into drywall repair, and painting.
I worked for a company that specialized in drywall repair and perfected my art over thousands of holes in the walls that needed repair
I’ve worked for companies where I ran six Crews of five men each doing drywall repair texture and painting. I’ve had Awards given to me by big construction companies for excellence in leadership and performance.
So a few years back has finally decided to get my contractors license. I studied hard and passed
Then it was just a matter of getting work and doing the best job I could on every job building a name for myself for excellence and integrity.
Since then I am a vendor for one of the biggest solar companies on the West Coast Sunrun doing their interior repairs due to water damage from solar installation. I work for a couple key companies and the Orange County area Alicia air, Laguna Electric and Rite of Passage.
I feel very blessed and I am continually grateful for all the many blessings that have been bestowed upon me and my family.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Well overall I’d say it’s been pretty smooth. Of course we all have obstacles but I’ve learned throughout the years that when you “let go and let God ” continue to do the right thing.You will be taken care of.Then show Faith by not worrying and the work always comes in.

I specialize in drywall repair and professional interior painting.
I am known for punctuality cleanliness attention to detail and integrity.
I am very proud to receive the Better Business Bureau award for high standards and integrity. And I have a five star rating on Google.
As far as being set apart from the others I can’t really say. I just try to be the best version of myself and let God take care of the rest.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I think the biggest risk that I may have taken are investments learning where to advertise and we’re not to what vehicles to buy and how much money you want to sink into them who to hire and who not to.Those are all risks in the aspect that every decision and action have consequences and effects whether they be positive or negative. Learning how to discern and apply previous experiences to feature risk-taking is a worthy endeavor.
