Hi Bill, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

When my brother passed away we began the brand it was something we spoke about time and time again just didn’t have a name for it yet , Our vision at Stoney Island is to create an inclusive environment that resonates with every segment of our diverse community, from vibrant youth to dynamic men and women, as well as the esteemed older generation. We aim to achieve this by offering a comprehensive range of apparel options that includes not only stylish streetwear but also versatile casual wear and functional sportswear.

The foremost objective of Stoney Island is to strive for excellence in all our endeavors. We believe that by fostering a culture of positivity and humility, we can pave the way toward limitless success and prosperity. As our brand continues to evolve and expand, we want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

I started out without much knowledge and faced some setbacks while we were purchasing boxes of shirts and hoodies that didn’t arrive ! figuring things out as we went along. That year was a valuable learning experience for me; I conducted a lot of research, attended several conventions, one of my biggest inspiration was Nipsey Hussle. He motivated me immensely, guiding me through the long, challenging days and helping me transition from initial ideas to creating blueprints and tech packs. I believe that 2025 will be a significant year for us!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I went to college for business and sociology after finishing up school I created a youth program “Dixon stars basketball club “ has been a safe haven for the youth in my
City we have been able to take the kids and travel the world while experiencing basketball and gaining exposure I also coach middle school boys’ basketball for the prep academy, and I truly enjoy what I do. The kids are our future, so being able to show them that there’s so much more to life has been a wonderful experience for me. What sets me apart from others is my unwavering desire and will to keep going, no matter the obstacles. I have a knack for two-stepping when things get out of sorts, calmly figuring things out without panicking, and this has always been one of my specialties.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Networking is huge never hesitate ! get out here and push your brand nobody is going to believe in your vision like you !
