Rising Stars: Meet Aktive Dailey of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aktive Dailey.

Aktive Dailey

Hi Aktive, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in Los Angeles, CA, I primarily focused on playing sports, before entering the Music Business. I’ve been in the Music Business for about 10 years, since entering late 2015. I’ve had the same signature tag “Aktive Dailey Beats” for 10 years as well. My signature tag can be heard within the first 10-20 seconds of the songs produced by me.

Some of my top produced songs are currently 2025’s elite track called “Redridaz pt. 1” by Dolow. The “Redridaz pt. 1” song is gaining a lot of attraction throughout the whole city of Los Angeles. Since the songs release, multiple YouTube and Podcast platforms have reached out to Dolow for Interviews. Most notably No Jumper, hosted by Adam22 reached out to Dolow for an Interview. The Interview is up now on YouTube. I’m happy and proud to see a friend and close collaborator, Dolow receive the recognition he deserves.

The beat making process for the Instrumental “Redridaz pt. 1” was to have an uptempo beat, hard hitting drums, and an eerie piano. I was able to create all that and some. Then, Dolow laid his verse on the beat and that became the classic elite track called “Redridaz pt. 1.” The song and video ‘Redridaz pt. 1″ is streaming now on YouTube. Other top produced tracks by me, are 2021’s WestCoast\HipHop Anthem “Dungeon” by Da Nosta featuring Tesla, Dolow, & RJMrLA and 2020’s standout track “Never Be The Same” by Dolow.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been a smoother road, then the past. In the last 5 years it’s definitely been more ups then downs. I currently still deal with the injuries I sustained back in early February 2016, when I was in a horrific car accident. The car accident placed me in a coma for three days & having several broken bones. I was in Intensive Care Unit until I could be transferred over to a general patient room. I was released from the hospital after two weeks. I then endured four years of ongoing surgeries and extensive physical therapy.

There was no foul play involved in the car accident regarding myself. I was in God’s Hands during the morning of my accident. After sustaining numerous injuries, I continued to thrive, preserver, and prosper. During this 4-year time frame, I continued to be a devoted Father, Full-Time Employee, and Music Producer. Finding time to balance all those things including my health, was a struggle for me at first. Now, I found how to manage my time and balancing out my priorities. I am currently still a devoted Father, Full-Time Employee, and Music Producer.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I do multiple jobs in the Music Business. I primarily focus on being a Music Producer. I also focus my time on being an Audio Engineer, Beat Maker, and a Music Consultant. I specialize in Music Production. I’m self-taught and self-motivated. I continue to learn and increase my knowledge in Music Production. I can create all types of beat genres and re-make certain beats. I’m best known for West Coast, HipHop, Trap, and R&B beats.

Currently on my YouTube channel (Aktive Dailey), I re-made Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble” and Tupac’s “Hail Mary” instrumentals. Also on my YouTube channel (Aktive Dailey), I have the Making & Recording of the song “Dungeon” by Da Nosta ft. Tesla, Dolow, & RJMrLA [Prod. By Aktive Dailey].

What sets me apart from others is, I don’t allow my failures to determine my destiny. I choose to learn from my mistakes and remain optimistic. I’m most proud of not giving up on myself, regardless what adversity I encountered. I appreciate all the supporters of Aktive Dailey.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising that most people who know my work might not know about me is, I enjoy putting in the hard work to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I’ve earned my spot in the Music Business by illustrating hard work and determination, on top all other factors. I’ve earned my credits, song placements, connections, and etc. I don’t have or use any gimmicks. I’m just a Music Producer out of Los Angeles who loves Music Production, and trying to make a living for me and mines.
